The PetroEnvironment 2021 Technical Committee would like to invite those with expert knowledge to apply for a speaking slot during the technical session at the symposium. The theme of this year’s event is “ Environmental Opportunities for Global Sustainability” 


You are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to:


  • Share your valuable experience to an audience of professionals, regulators and decision-makers

  • Provide new information, propose new ideas, and steps to implement these in relation to a circular economy

  • Educate others on environmental issues and share any case studies


Abstracts should fall into one of the following technical session topics:

  • Decarbonizing Technologies and Solution

  • Environmental Challenges and Circular Solutions in the Oil & Gas Sector

  • Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage

  • Marine and Coastal Environmental Challenges and Opportunities

  • Biodiversity and Afforestation 


Should your abstract be selected, you will be assigned 20 minutes for an oral presentation during the symposium. Your presentation slides will also be made available to delegates on the event website. 


Abstract Submission Guidelines


  1. The abstract should deal with new concepts, ideas and novel applications to meet the current environmental issues, with a focus of the circular economy.

  2. Abstract title should be no longer than 10 words and description no longer than 300 words.

  3. Provide author/s name/s, affiliations, email address, and telephone number

  4. Provide a brief biography of the presenter ( 200 words or less) as well as a photograph 

  5. Above information should be supplied in MS Word


All applicants will be contacted to inform them whether or not their abstracts have been accepted within 2 weeks from when their application is received. 


All speakers must register for the symposium and are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses during the event.
