TECHNICAL PANEL - PLASTICS & PLASTICS RECYCLING

Ronald Richa is an environmental and circular economy specialist. Under Veolia Middle East, Ronald is currently heading the plastic recycling activity with the ambition to build, in Abu Dhabi, the UAE first food grade PET recycling facility. He is also managing several initiatives to enhance the circular economy culture and increase the plastic collection rate.

Ronald has an industrial business development background with a focus on environmental solutions and services for the Oil & Gas industry.

Ronald has 20 years’ experience in the environmental business. He served several industrial companies providing tailor made and sustainable solutions. He also worked as an environmental consultant and had several assignments with big corporations.

Ronald holds a Bachelor of Water and Environmental Engineering and a Master’s in Industrial Marketing. He also participated in several executive-level trainings and programmes.
